"A staple of life, if you're an Aucklander, is to get in the car and drive to Muriwai for sunset, either looking out towards Oaia Island from the car boot, down on the sand with some takeaways, or while blocking your nose in front of the Gannet colony. My experience on this day was much like every other time I'd been there on a dusk mission - but but that view never gets old, and two brave swimmers sealed the deal for this shot."
