"The hike to and from this little orange beauty was gruelling, and I lost my favourite beanie somewhere along the way. The ensuing show of colour at sunset, though, was something that completely took me by surprise - and it undeniably earned a place in my personal history books as a top evening. The name Cabin Secure refers to the absolute insecurity of accomodation at this first-come-first-served backcountry hut, and our night spent on the ground outside it. Mt Brown, 2022."
