"Each year, some people in Queenstown come together and organise a festival which promotes the start of a cold, cold season. Winter is the heart and soul of this town, so to be celebrating its beginning is something I'm on board with. The thing is, an integral part of the festival is a fireworks display... Tell me, what kind of photographer would I be if I didn't go out and stand on the side of a freezing hill, with a tripod and 15 other photographers, all trying to capture the next best image of some sweet, sweet explosives?"

Images are printed on Enhanced Matte Fine Art Paper (200GSM) using 12 archival pigment inks for a faithful reproduction of colour. Be sure to take care when handling loose prints - printed surfaces are delicate and prone to marking, even from clean fingers.
